The Rams ran 29 times for 141 yards, led by RB Stephen Jackson who kept finding holes in the middle of New Orleans defense. WR Donnie Avery also put up a great effort with 2TDs, but alas it was not enough to take down those perfect Saints, who are 9-0 for the first time in club history.

NFLPA Executive Dir. Denounces Rush Limbaugh's Bid for Rams
DeMaurice Smith has sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell condemning the bid for the St. Louis Rams by an investment group which includes divisive talk-show host Rush Limbaugh. Seven NFL players have also expressed their disapproval of such a deal. Even Rev. Al Sharpton has spoken out against the purchase, calling it "anit-NFL".
